Partner, Kyle Gee, participated in the first meeting of the Uniform Law Commission’s newly formed Electronic Wills Committee, held in Philadelphia on October 13-14, 2017. This committee seeks to draft a uniform act or model law addressing the formation, validity and recognition of electronic wills. The committee may seek expansion of its charge to address end-of-life planning documents such as advance medical directives or powers of attorney for health care or finance.
