Mike Schauer is as an associate attorney in the business and real estate practice groups. Mike has served as in-house counsel for closely held companies and facilitated rapid and sustained growth across multiple business units both in concert with the formation and initial startup of new entities as well as previously operating entities.
Mike advises and assists clients on corporate and transactional matters including formation, commercial contracting, mergers and acquisitions, franchising, corporate governance and protection of intellectual property. Mike also negotiates, drafts and advises clients in connection with real estate acquisition and leasing.
Mike graduated from The John Marshall School of Law in Chicago in 2015 where he served as Articles Editor on the Review of Intellectual Property. Prior to attending law school, Mike graduated with a B.S. Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago. Mike is also a registered patent attorney with the USPTO.
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and young family exploring the city.
