Biography

Katherine E. Collin Moore joined Schneider Smeltz Spieth Bell LLP’s Trust & Estates practice group in December 2019 where she focuses on estate, tax and complex-gift planning.  Her experience at two of Cleveland’s premier philanthropic institutions, the Cleveland Foundation and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, enables her to address the unique estate planning and charitable giving needs for our clients.

Katie currently serves as a member of the Estate Planning Institute of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Membership Committee of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, where she also lends her expertise to the team that provides the monthly tax updates.

For nearly two years, beginning in 2017, Katie served on the Foundation Planning Taskforce of Lakewood, Ohio, which launched the Healthy Lakewood Foundation at the end of 2018.  As a member of various sub-committees, she helped determine the mission and tax status of the new foundation and selected the first slate of board officers.

Katie lives in Lakewood, Ohio, with her husband.
