After working as a public accountant with Grant Thornton, LLP in Cleveland, Gregory Johnson entered the legal profession and practiced with Reminger Co., L.P.A. in Cleveland for nearly five years as a member of its corporate practice area. Gregg joined Schneider, Smeltz, Ranney & LaFond in 2011 and became a Partner in January, 2014.
Gregg is Chair of the Business and Real Estate Practice Groups at Schneider Smeltz Spieth Bell. He concentrates his practice on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate matters. In addition, he is experienced in counseling clients with the formation and disposition of all types of business entities including, corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships.
For more than a year, Gregg served on the Board of Directors for Cleveland Lighthouse and Villaview Lighthouse Community Schools. He served as the sole attorney for the Board and advised on various issues including lease renegotiations and potential purchases. Gregg is also a member of various professional bars associations including the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Gregg currently resides with his wife in Rocky River.
