Donovan DeLuca joined the firm in 2024 with over 10 years of legal experience in Juvenile, Common Pleas, and Appeal courts throughout Northeast Ohio. Donovan focuses his practice in the areas of Family Law, Juvenile Law, Criminal Defense, and Civil Litigation.
Before joining the firm, Donovan was an attorney practicing in Geauga County where he gained valuable experience in Family, Juvenile, Criminal and Civil Law. He spent five years with the Geauga County Prosecutors Office where he gained valuable trial experience. At the prosecutor’s office Donovan represented Geauga County Job and Family Services, prosecuting parents who abused and/or neglected their children.
Donovan earned his Juris Doctorate from the Widener University School of Law in 2012 where he was a Hugh B. Pierce Mock Trial Advocacy Competition finalist. He attended Washington & Jefferson College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, participated on the varsity football team, and was the President of the pre-legal society.
In addition to his profession, Donovan is the Treasurer for the Geauga County Bar Association, former member of the Board of Directors at the Geauga County YMCA, and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Chardon. He is a graduate of “Leadership Geauga,” class of 2020 and enjoys giving back to his high school alma mater, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin, by coaching their Mock Trial team.
